Paint Tool Sai Transparent Background
I'm trying to figure out how to save images in Paint Tool SAI with a transparent background (instead of having a white box around the image). Apparently, when you export an image as a.PNG, it gives you an option to save the image with a transparent background. From what I've heard, however, it seems earlier versions of the program don't give you that option. Therefore, I downloaded PaintTool SAI English Pack Ver 1.1.0, which appears to be the latest version of the program. I guess some time ago I had already downloaded that particular version, and so now it's telling me that my free trial period has ended and I need to purchase a software license. Now I don't know what to do. Where do I purchase a software license?
If my understanding is correct, SAI is a foreign program and the English Pack is a fan-translation. If I was to purchase the software license, would it even be compatible with the SAI English Pack? To add to my worries, I'm still not even positive if purchasing the license would solve my initial issue of saving images with a transparent background. What would be the best solution for this problem? Is there another way to save an image without a background in SAI, without having to run the file though GIMP, PhotoShop, etc.?
